Durham Co-Housing Community

This cooperative community housing complex is located in downtown Durham, NC. The four-story building contains 25 urban condominiums with common dining room, kitchen, great room, meeting rooms, guest bedrooms, gardens and a rooftop patio. Each unit has its own kitchen and balcony and shares the use of the common kitchen, dining room, media room, living room, laundry, project room and workshop. Each unit has one underground parking space. This urban site project required advanced planning and detailed delivery schedules. Project managers arranged road access usage plans and developed specialized pedestrian safety policies.
