The Factory at Congdon Yards is a mixed-use historic rehabilitation in downtown High Point, NC. This 93,357 square foot space holds office and co-working space for businesses. It also includes an art gallery with classrooms, multiple gatherings, and common areas.
To create the new space for Salem Montessori School, a former bank was renovated into a learning environment. Each of the classrooms features natural light, an enclosed outdoor activity space, and flexible learning areas. There is also a large gathering area that accommodates up to 130 individuals. The renovation was designed with proper Montessori design techniques that promote the development of children.
Piedmont Retina Specialists is a single-story upfit in a medical office building. The medical practice has 17 exam rooms, three procedure rooms, and three imaging suites to treat and diagnose patients with retinal disease. The spacious waiting areas, soothing colors, and high-end finishes create a welcoming environment for patients.
This project for Digestive Health Specialists is a two-story medical office upfit in Kimel Park. The space was designed with the patient's visit experience in mind, with traditional exam rooms and an infusion area on the lower level and procedures occurring on the upper level.
The project also features specialty medical equipment in the pathology lab, decontamination area, and procedure rooms.
The Arthrex Piedmont+ Medical Education Campus provides a place for local surgeons to practice new procedures and products that will help them better treat their patients. The renovation of existing space included the creation of an experimental lab, classroom, offices, conference room, and open lounge with a golf simulator. A retractable wall system was installed to provide the flexibility to separate both the lab and the classroom from the remaining office space.
This project is a 15,000 square foot renovation of an existing retail space for the new tenant, Rock Outdoors. The interior buildout showcases the outdoor sports store's latest boats, fishing gear, kayaks and other merchandise. It is complete with custom built-in display cabinetry, office space, fitting rooms, and the addition of a garage door. The project also included a total façade refresh.
The John W. Red, Jr. Center for Assisted Living renovation totaled 11,100 square feet. The project included upfits and new finishes in the library, dining room, lobby, resident corridors, and two community rooms. The building was occupied during construction.
