Jefferson Village

May 2, 2008

Landmark Builders of the Triad, based in Kernersville, has won the contract to build a 41,000 square foot expansion at Jefferson Village in Greensboro.

The $3.5 million project is the final addition to the retail complex at New Garden Road and Bryan Boulevard. Cline Design of Wilmington is the architect.

Books-a-Million will anchor the addition, and Avanti Spa will fill one of the remaining spaces, said Doug Rohr of Zimmer Development of Wilmington. Up to six spaces with flexible square footage are still available, he said, and the hope is to attract smaller, upscale local shops.

Zimmer has also developed the Shops at Waterford in Burlington and a center on Hanes Mall Boulevard in Winston-Salem.
