DataChambers has secured the necessary financing for the completion of its planned $9 million expansion in Winston-Salem, the firm has announced.
The company, which provides managed IT services, data storage and other functions, announced last spring it would build a new 20,000-square-foot data center on its 80-acre campus in the city, roughly doubling its physical size. Construction on the project is already under way.
NewBridge Bank has committed additional financing for the project, said CEO Nicholas Kottyan. Landmark Builders is the general contractor.
“We’ve been pleased with the progress of the project, which positions us for significant growth,” Kottyan said. “We expect to be up and running by early summer.”
