The Groundbreaking Ceremony for the relocation of the Surgical Center of Greensboro recently took place. The project, a consolidation of two existing ambulatory surgical centers, Surgical Center of Greensboro and Orthopaedic Surgical Center, both located in Greensboro. The new freestanding ambulatory surgery center totals 60,000 SF and will include 13 Operating Rooms and 2 Procedure Rooms. Construction is planned to begin early February and is estimated to be complete in the spring of 2017.
Landmark Builders will be the General Contractor for the project. Other project team members included Surgical Care Affiliates, Deep River Partners, CJMW Architecture, and Bank of North Carolina.
